Born into the proud heritage of Ile Ago in Ogbomoso, Kayode Hamzat is a son of Oyo State who understands the heartbeat of his community because he has lived every bit of its struggle and its promise. He isn’t just a candidate; he is a product of resilience, an entrepreneur by fire, and a leader by choice.

The Foundations of a Leader

Kayode’s journey didn’t begin in a boardroom; it began at the feet of his parents, who were grassroots traders. His first lesson in economics came from watching his mother, a petty trader beside a church. Noticing that congregants often lacked envelopes for their tithes, a young Kayode stepped in to supply them. It was a small venture, but it taught him a life-altering truth: leadership is about listening to small needs before you can solve big ones.

After completing his education at Royal Kids International School in Ogbomoso, Kayode took that same drive into the corporate world. He spent years in the high-pressure energy sector. His dedication didn’t go unnoticed; he was eventually honored as the youngest and best Manager of the Year while overseeing multiple major fuel stations across Ekiti State.

Building an Empire of Business

Kayode’s entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to the digital world, where he mastered e-commerce and marketing long before they became mainstream. Today, he is the founder of the renowned Styles and Smiles Salon. What started as a single shop has blossomed into a three-branch success story, providing dignified employment to nearly 100 staff members.

For Kayode, “Styles and Smiles” is more than a business. It’s a laboratory for job creation. Even in a tough economy, he has prioritized the welfare of his team, because he believes every young person deserves dignity while they learn.

Service Beyond the Ballot

Long before declaring his intention to run for the Oyo State House of Assembly (Ogbomoso South), Kayode was already doing the work of a representative. His impact is visible on the very streets he serves:

Infrastructure: He has personally funded the grading of community roads to help residents and traders move smoothly.

Education: Having once struggled to afford his own fees, he now quietly pays the school fees of several students in his host community.

Dignity for All: On his company’s third anniversary, he led his entire staff to a correctional facility to provide free haircuts for inmates, proving his belief that dignity should never end at a prison gate.

The Vision for 2027

Kayode is stepping into the political arena not for the title, but for the influence to do more. His “why” is simple: he wants to prove that it is possible to serve the people with integrity and competence.

He stands for practical laws that protect small businesses, improve the quality of local schools, and create real jobs for the youth. He isn’t offering empty promises; he is offering a track record of solving problems, managing people, and showing up before he was ever asked.

“If Kayode can do it, you can do it too.” That is the message he carries to the youth of Ogbomoso South. A message of hope, hard work, and a future built by us, for us.
