6ix9ine has been freed from prison after completing his sentence for probation violations – and he’s coming back home with stringent conditions for the near future.
As per a report by the Tribune, the contentious rapper was freed from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on Thursday (December 12) with a one-year probation extension along with a home confinement order, electronic monitoring, and numerous other conditions.
Included in the stipulations is the necessity to hold a full-time “lawful” job – which could conflict with his aspirations as a rapper.
Akademiks also acquired footage of 6ix9ine’s initial day of freedom, showing him being collected from MDC in a sprinter van.
On November 13, 6ix9ine received a sentence of 45 days in jail, surpassing the 30-day period requested by the prosecution.
The various infractions involved testing positive for meth, going to Las Vegas without authorization, and two instances of noncompliance with drug testing requests.
In addressing the “FEFE” rapper, Judge Paul Engelmayer stated: “Your violation of the court’s trust is significant. Five infractions indicate that you think the rules do not concern you. “You might think that due to your fame as a rapper.”
Consequently, 6ix9ine requested mercy: “I often err, yet I’m not a bad individual.”
Engelmayer also cautioned 6ix9ine about the possibility of a tougher sentence if he appears in his court again: “Should you return to my courtroom, I might impose a harsher penalty.”
The Brooklyn native first justified his trip to Vegas via his lawyer, who stated that he traveled there for a performance and thought he had informed the appropriate authorities, but he eventually pleaded guilty to the charge.
The probation concerns 6ix9ine’s 2019 sentencing following his guilty plea to racketeering, gun offenses, and drug trafficking. He received a sentence of two years in prison along with five years of supervised release.
The arrest followed the rapper’s signing of a new contract with Kartel Music Group, which included a specific condition that he must not have any legal problems during the contract period or start any online feuds. He cannot be apprehended either.
It is uncertain how the arrest will affect the deal going forward.
