In collaboration with Lionsgate, 50 Cent has declared the debut of his own television network.

A free-to-air TV station called 50 Cent Action will run commercials in addition to TV series and movies from Lionsgate’s extensive back catalog.

The rapper and actor will feature in over a dozen films, including The Expendables 4, on the network, along with 50’s Power series. The remaining three motion pictures in the action franchise featuring Jason Statham and Sylvester Stallone will also be accessible.

“We’re excited to expand our long-standing partnership into the FAST [free ad-supported streaming] space,” Lionsgate President of Worldwide Television Distribution Jim Packer said in a statement on Thursday, August 1. “50 Cent’s movies and television series are synonymous with non-stop action,” Packer said.

“This channel will bring diverse, action-packed content to audiences everywhere, reflecting my passion for storytelling and providing a platform for fresh, dynamic voices,” 50 stated in a statement released by himself. I’m excited to collaborate closely with each and every FAST platform to make this a prosperous channel.

“Excited to officially announce my brand new Live TV FAST Channel created in partnership with Lionsgate, 50 CENT ACTION — Get ready for non-stop action, exclusive content, and your favorite movies and shows all for FREE!” the G-Unit head wrote on Instagram, further promoting the future network. “Shh don’t tell nobody I’m working, it’s time to turn it up a notch 50centAction all platforms coming soon!” he wrote, adding a photo of the channel’s logo.

Before the channel’s launch, 50 Cent discussed his intentions for it in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“I have access to a vast collection of action movies, but there will be new content as well.” It must be high-end. I don’t want my people to see me the way they do on Tubi. “I’ll ensure that everything is of the highest caliber,” he declared.

“My original material needs to fit on the platform.” Thus, those universes will be present in the Power series. There will soon be offshoot shows on BMF. If you give me a year, I’ll be the top-ranked FAST channel.

50 has acted in numerous Lionsgate productions in the past, such as Escape Plan, The Frozen Ground, and the recently released Boneyard, which co-stars Mel Gibson.
