50 Cent has provided an explanation for his extended avoidance of spending time with Diddy, citing a “strange” interaction with the Harlem entrepreneur.

Fif opened up about his problems with Puffy in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Puffy has been the target of vicious trolling ever since he was accused of sexual assault by several women, including a male producer.

“He asked to take me shopping,” the G-Unit boss said in response to a question about why he had “made a point of not attending Diddy’s parties.” That sounded like something a man would say to a lady, so I thought it was the craziest thing ever.

And from the way he was simply moving, I was like, ‘Naw, I’m not fucking with this crazy vibe or weird shit.'” I felt uneasy with him because of it.

Additionally, 50 cleared up any misunderstandings regarding his relationship with Diddy, with whom he had previously worked on tracks like the remix of “I Get Money” and “Victory 2004.”

“Mostly, it was work.” I wouldn’t characterize it as a friendship because if we didn’t communicate, there wouldn’t be any disappointment on either end,” he explained. “[Diddy’s former partner] In the beginning, Jennifer Lopez really advised him to collaborate with me as a songwriter.

He would ask me to write. I recall saying, “No, no, no,” when Diddy would call and my son’s mother would answer. I didn’t want to pick up the phone. And her reaction was, “What the fuck?” We require cash. She’s giving me a “what?” expression. “Why do you not want to speak with him?”

“I didn’t ever party or hang out with him,” he continued. Puff is a businessman; when [people] refer to him as a producer, I see exploited individuals who created goods that he appropriated. The credit went to him. He isn’t a creator.

He has been successful in exploiting the company’s creatives. That’s not something I’m interested in doing. In actuality, I’m a creative. I simply didn’t enjoy hanging around with that, thus

In an earlier social media joke, 50 Cent made reference to Diddy’s purported “shopping” request while making fun of the Bad Boy boss.

He uploaded a video of himself pretending to text Puffy, and the troubled businessman opened by saying, “Hello daddy.” Afterwards, he remarked, “I’ll take you shopping tomorrow. Come over for a drink.” Come on.

The native of Queens, New York, has previously claimed that he shied away from Diddy’s events because of purported homoerotic advances.

“Nuh uh. That n-gga simultaneously gives you a front and back hug? Fuck you for saying that? He made jokes last year during a concert.

“Well, if that’s what you’re into, then great. That’s okay with me. This isn’t my motherfuckin’ kind of party, I’m just saying. I feel uneasy. I believe I belong in the restroom with the girls.
