42 Dugg disagrees with Skilla Baby’s assertion that Eminem is not considered the greatest of all time by Detroiters, even though he can see why Skilla Baby made that claim.
When the 29-year-old came on The Breakfast Club on Thursday, July 11, he was questioned over Skilla’s claim. He clarified why younger rap fans could feel that way, even though he claimed he was ignorant that the statement had been made.
They most likely feel that way. Even the new youngsters are unaware of him, according to Dugg. “How might they do that? To return, you must truly enjoy music. Yes, I am aware. That’s my card every time someone starts bringing up someone else; I just say, “We got Eminem.” He seems like the GOAT to me.
42 Dugg gave Slim Shady his flowers after being asked if Eminem’s music was just too commercial for street music lovers to relate to. He said that Shady had a big influence on his own music.
He said, “He made deep music.” “I go listen to my favorite songs, ‘Toy Soliders’ or ‘Stan.'” I therefore very much know how to channel it when it’s my turn to write original music. Because I already know what I’m searching for: a song in the vein of “Stan.”

When Skilla Baby came on the Baby, This is Keke Palmer podcast earlier this month, he was making his assertion about Eminem and talking about who the best rapper from the Motor City is.
“Eminem is the best rapper in Detroit by a wide margin, but no one in Detroit would ever say that,” he remarked.
The rapper known as “Bae” continued, saying, “Everyone took a turn being the favorite rapper in Detroit. There were turns for Sada Baby, Tee Grizzley, Babyface Ray, Veeze, one of Detroit’s top rappers, and Baby Smoove. It was everyone’s turn to be the greatest in the city. We are deficient in consistency. No one has ever been the go-to rapper in Detroit.
Returning to Slim Shady, he remarked, “Eminem leads in numbers, but no one in Detroit is playing Eminem at the moment, and I was an Eminem fan growing up. Although I love Eminem, is he really our best rapper? Detroit, in my opinion, does not.
Later, Skilla Baby provided an update on Instagram, elaborating on his remarks, saying, “Of course, I can’t forget Kash Doll, Big Sean, and Dej [Loaf]; Detroit is full of great rappers.”
The 25-year-old omitted several well-known Detroit celebrities from his list, such as Icewear Vezzo, Danny Brown, Boldy James, 42 DuggBabyTron, Royce Da 5’9′′, and BabyTron.
